I'm Alex, a second-year computer engineering PhD student studying under Josiah Hester in the Ka Moamoa lab at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
I grew up in Massachusetts, which is also where I attained my bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Tufts University.
I worked several years after college at DMC, a nationwide engineering consulting firm, where I developed custom circuitry and embedded firmware for a variety of consumer, industrial, and research-focused clients.
My research is centered on developing inexpensive and accurate sensing devices for human and environmental health applications.
